Igor Sordokhonov

Igor Sordokhonov

Chief Creative Officer

Igor co-founded Media.Work in 2019, after two decades of working as a designer and art director at production studios and TV channels. Just before leaving to create his own studio, Igor worked as a Chief Creative Officer at one of the top three TV channels in Russia, where he was responsible for all visual communications. The channel’s visual identity, created by Igor and his team, won several awards and was shortlisted at Promax awards for two years in a row.

At Media.Work, Igor is responsible for the creative direction of projects and is known as a person who can solve any problem — from technical issues to strategic questions.

Anna Gulyaeva

Anna Gulyaeva

Creative Producer

Anna is a creative producer and an editor at Media.Work. She has experience of working as a writer and a social media manager. Before joining the team, she worked at several media and content marketing studios, where she covered topics pertaining to the IT industry and art.

At our studio, Anna is in charge of texts, social media, and communications. With a wide variety of daily tasks, she works on the presentation of our ideas to the rest of the world.

Dmitriy Ponomarev

Dmitriy Ponomarev

Design Director

Now an art director and a 3D designer at Media.Work, Dmitriy started his career as an industrial designer. He was a part of one of the oldest industrial design and design consulting companies in Russia. There, Dmitriy worked on many projects, including the development of Zenit M, a new camera coming from a legendary Russian brand, which won the Good Design Award in 2019.

At Media.Work, Dmitriy works as a design director overseeing a wide range of our projects. Professionally raised by both artists and hardcore engineers, he is a person who can advise his teammates on the aesthetic aspects of our work and knows everything about how materials and objects look and behave in real life.

Anna Reshetnikova

Anna Reshetnikova

Art Director

Anna is an art director at Media.Work team. She is an industrial designer with many remarkable projects in her portfolio, truly passionate about what she does.

Anna's work won RedDot, iF Design, and Good Design awards among many others. Creating products for real world, she is well versed not only in the visual aspect of things, but also in materials and production. In our team, she applies her impressive experience to our digital creations, leading the projects as an art director.

Sergey Shurupov

Sergey Shurupov

Designer

Sergey is a designer at our studio. To join the team, he moved to Moscow from Chelyabinsk, where he lived and worked as a 3D artist while creating many personal art projects. As a part of the Media.Work team, Sergey works on 3D graphics for our projects and still manages to keep up the pace with his personal projects. He is a music connoisseur and knows every band ever existing on Earth (and even was in a band himself).

Roman Kotov

Roman Kotov

Designer

Roman is a designer at Media.Work. Before becoming a part of our team, he lived in the city of Tyumen, 2000 kilometers away from Moscow. He started working as a freelancer while he studied computer graphics and animation in the university and gained various experience — from branding and graphic design to architectural visualizations. To join us, Roman, together with his wife and their two cats, moved to Moscow and is now applying his manifold skills to our various projects.

Denis Semenov

Denis Semenov

Designer

Denis is a team lead at Media.Work. He is a master of complex 3D simulations, who worked on a variety of projects for the film and game industry. Denis was a part of teams who created graphics for games God of War and Shadow Fight 3, films Final Fantasy XV: Kingsglaive, Beyond the Edge and many others. He is one of the most tech-savvy members of our team, who knows how to create stunning and amazingly realistic renders, and has unique visual ideas that often pleasantly surprise others in the team.

Kirill Makhin

Kirill Makhin

Designer

Together with his twin brother Daniil, Kirill worked as an architect for several years before he got interested in 3D graphics and became a motion designer. Kirill worked on projects in motion design for various events and companies, including Microsoft, Toyota, Hyundai, and others. He was also involved in public events that used projection mapping, for instance, Moscow-based festival The Circle of Light. Now, he is a part of our team of designers who create our commercial and internal projects.

Viktor Gulyaev

Viktor Gulyaev

Developer

Viktor is a lead developer at Abstract.Work. Before joining us, he worked at other technological companies, where he developed VR games and applications for companies like Hyundai, Coca Cola and Genesis. During his career, Viktor also created his own games for VR and mobile platforms and was a part of a team that developed a system that helps people rehabilitate after a stroke. In our studio, Viktor is responsible for the game development and the creation of other interactive experiences.

Zhenya Zolotova

Zhenya Zolotova

Project Manager

Zhenya is a project manager in our studio and, most likely, the first person you'll meet when you reach out to us. She has an impressive experience in project management and worked in companies big and small. Right before joining us, she was a part of a large corporation but took her chance and became a part of our small and tight-knit team. Now she is the one who keeps our tasks in order and keeps in touch with our clients, helping us in all of our projects, commercial or otherwise.

Artur Gadzhiev

Artur Gadzhiev

Technical Director

Artur is the technical director and Houdini artist at Media.Work. Before joining the studio, Artur worked as a VFX artist and technical director, who was responsible for visual effects in such films as Final Fantasy XV: Kingsglaive, Metro, Legenda No. 17, Attraction, Invasion and many others. For two years, Artur worked as a lecturer at one of the most prestigious design universities in Russia — British Higher School of Art and Design.

Now he is in charge of our production processes — Artur oversees rendering and optimizes our technical pipeline while listening to the heaviest music known to humanity and creating complex simulations with maths, algorithms, and black magic.

Roman Kuzminykh

Roman Kuzminykh

Art Director

Roman works as an art director and a 3D designer in our studio. He was born in St.Petersburg, where he studied architecture and worked as an architect, but then decided to apply his talents in another industry and became a motion designer. Roman moved to Moscow, where he started to work at a large design and production studio and, eventually, became an art director there.

Currently, Roman is a part of our team and applies his rich experience and artistic vision to the variety of our projects.

Roman Eltsov

Designer

Roman works with us as a designer. While he studied graphic design in Ekaterinburg, Roman started working as a concept artist but soon understood that he wants to dedicate his time to 3D graphics. He lived in St. Petersburg, working as an independent 3D designer, but then moved to Moscow to become a part of a prominent design studio, where he collaborated with large brands. Now Roman is a part of our team who, as one of the youngest members, always brings unique creative vision on the table.

Tatyana Balyberdina

Tatyana Balyberdina

Designer

Tatyana works in our studio as a designer. She has experience in creating visual effects for films and worked as a VFX artist. Before studying computer graphics, Tatyana was an aviation engineer — she adapted and designed aircrafts which are still produced in Russia. In our studio, Tatyana works on all sorts of projects that require excellence in creating high-end graphics and realistic simulations. She always has unique ideas about how to use Houdini and is not afraid of coding.

Ilya Dozhdikov

Ilya Dozhdikov

Houdini Artist

Ilya is a Houdini Artist at Abstract.Work team. At university, he studied nanomaterials and their application in energy production, but decided to work in the VFX industry instead. Starting as compositor, he, eventually, began creating visual effects and programming custom tools for 3D artists. Before moving to our team to work on more creative projects, he was a team lead at a VFX studio and produced effects for such critically-acclaimed films as The Revenant and Leviathan. He is now a part of our game development team, where he helps to visualize various ideas and concepts that the team comes up with.

Designer

Artyom Markaryan

Artyom Markaryan

Sound Designer

Artyom is a sound designer at Media.Work and Abstract.Work. Formerly an actor graduated from The Mikhail Shchepkin Higher Theatre School, he starred in several Russian films before he decided to dedicate himself to music and sound production. He worked as a sound designer on projects for Vogue Russia and Discovery Channel, created music for installations and performed as an electronic musician ITSU. As a part of our team, he is a master of every sound that is heard in our projects, from short films to games.

Vasiliy Zinchuck

Vasiliy Zinchuck

Creative Technologist

Vasiliy is a part of our Abstract.Work department, where he works as a 3D artist and level designer. Before joining our team, he lived in Ekaterinburg and Saint Petersburg but now resides in Moscow, like the rest of us. Previously, Vasiliy worked in game development and created high-end graphics for VR training solutions. At our team, Vasiliy is responsible for the graphics in our games, VR and AR projects. He is a true VR enthusiast who likes to create realistic experiences using the method of photogrammetry.

Denis Gorpanyuk

Denis Gorpanyuk

Office Manager

An absolutely irreplaceable person in the team, Denis is our office manager. He supports life in our studio, solving every question pertaining to our daily life and finding everything we need for our creative experiments. Always ready to help, Denis is constantly busy improving our office and arranging all sorts of undertaking inside the studio.
